Proceeding from our belief that nations advance the minds of their thinkers, creators, and scholars and develop their higher educational institutions, especially engineering, which have a vital role in building and reconstructing countries.
Our Iraq now needs to combine all efforts to rebuild and advance its future, which we strived at the University of Al-Muthanna to lay the first building block for the establishment of the College of Engineering in the year 2008-2009, where the college opened its doors and received its first student in the Department of Civil and Chemical Engineering, graduating from eight courses.
And in 2013, the Department of Architecture was opened to be the equivalent of the Civil Engineering Department and to provide the country with qualified engineers in the field of architecture.
In its future plans, the College of Engineering seeks to keep pace with scientific progress and technological development in all engineering disciplines and to initiate in the coming years, God willing, by opening the Department of Electrical, Mechanical, Roads, and Bridges.. We pray to God to help us to serve our precious Iraq and advance the reality of the Muthanna Governorate.
