The College of Engineering was established in the year 2008, with the efforts of qualified professors who were the first to help in the establishment of the college and received its students at the beginning of the academic year (2009 - 2008), where it was The college includes the departments of Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering, and in 2013 the Department of Architecture was established.
During the course of the college, which included 32 teaching staff when it opened and received students, this number increased to become today (76) teaching staff who contributed to the graduation of batches of qualified engineers, who are provided to the College of Engineering in Muthanna Governorate and Iraq to contribute to its construction and development.
